About

1928507660The right kind of help is at your fingertips.

Perhaps life has not been quite right for some time. Currently, work and home are more frustrating than enjoyable and fulfilling. Anxiety may cause you to lack confidence in making decisions, especially those that are hard.

Every move you make causes you to worry about doing the right thing. Depression may have you unmotivated, possibly draining you of meaningful relationships. Feeling frustrated, disappointed, and out of sync makes you weary. You want some peace and for life to ease up. Overcoming those overwhelming feelings is possible through therapy.

You may have tried therapy before and found the experience either not what you expected or unhelpful. Alternatively, you may have contemplated seeing someone at the recommendation of your friends or doctors.

I encourage you to give therapy another attempt. There is help especially suited for you and your situation, personality, and future.

Let me take this journey with you.

While working with me, you will experience someone who has been in practice for over 15 years and has a variety of experiences and wisdom to offer to help you overcome what’s bothering you.

I will listen and hear your story and voice until you know that I “get” you. You will find it easy to connect with me, even through a computer or iPhone screen.

Through the therapeutic process, you will learn tools and strategies to help you navigate your situations, and together, we will celebrate your growth and progress.

About Me

AdminHelping others is my lifelong goal.

Although originally a native of Ohio, I have been a resident of Tennessee since 1997. During my Master’s degree program, I started feeling a strong calling to become a psychologist and help people with emotional problems.

I earned my Ph.D. in Psychology from Tennessee State University, did my predoctoral internship at the University of Memphis, and have been a resident of Memphis since 2002.

As a believer in lifelong learning, I continued my education by earning a Doctor of Ministry in Faith and Health in 2008.

Life is full of beautiful experiences.

I love the beach, music, reading, and my dog Dazzle. I am passionate about helping people achieve mental and emotional wellness to live lives of meaning and purpose.

My life motto is, “Every experience has something to teach me.”

I would love to guide you to find the lesson in your life experiences that helps you have the quality of life you desire and deserve.
